Tesla'sCellManufacturingEngineeringteamis lookingforhighly motivatedManufacturingEngineering Techniciansfor an exciting new project.This role will be involved in the development,commissioning,and ramping of high-speed automatedequipment, while working in a cross-functional team to test,validate, and roll-out process and product design changes.

The battery cell is a criticalcomponentin Tesla vehicles and storage systems. This role will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our products.The work environment is demanding, fast-paced,and incredibly exciting.The ideal candidate should be ready to push their limits, as they joinahighly motivated and capableteam.


What You'll Do
  • Support development, commissioning, and ramp of custom high-speed automated manufacturing equipment
  • Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and maintenance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and suppliers toidentifyissues and drive engineering improvements
  • Debug andoptimizeautomated processes to reduce cycle times and maximize OEE
  • Troubleshoot complex issues using PLC, HMI, and tool management software while supporting operations during extended downtime
  • Develop operating procedures, training materials, maintenance routines, and equipment documentation
  • Conduct analytical tests, record and interpret data, andparticipatein supplier and internal FAT/SAT activities

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of hands-on operational and technical experience with mechatronics or electromechanical systems in a highly automated manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, high and low voltage systems, and electrical safety practices
  • Proficient in metal working, fabrication tools, hand/power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
  • Ability to perform hands-on assembly, disassembly, and inspections with good manual dexterity and ability tolift upto 20 pounds
  • Strongproficiencyin MS Word, Excel, and other business systems to manage and interpret technical data
  • Excellent attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with availability for domestic and international travel
