As a Security Officer Entry Management in COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting established screening and documentation processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Complete required reports related to visitor activity, access events, incidents, and daily operations while following post orders and customer instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
