As a Security Officer Security Screening Specialist in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen people and property, and support daily operations through a visible presence and strong communication. This role blends customer service with security-related awareness to help reduce incidents and support a smooth workflow. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening activities, and/or emergency response protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with posted policies and client-directed procedures.
• Monitor entry points, inspect authorized credentials and/or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, or restricted items to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help identify security-related concerns and support order throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
