Now Hiring: Junior Accountant - Direct Hire

Location: Beverly, MA

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable
  • Maintain and support balance sheet, P&L, and departmental financial reporting
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies in inventory records
  • Perform cycle count audits to ensure inventory accuracy and valuation
  • Analyze inventory locations within ERP systems for accuracy and control compliance
  • Support preparation of audit schedules for internal and external audits
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Understanding of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple departments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
