Stellar Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer (MBSE) (Journeyman) to support a U.S. Space Force mission planning capability used today by U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy warfighters. This role applies Model-Based Systems Engineering practices to translate operational needs into actionable technical artifacts, sustain system models, and support lifecycle planning. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented systems engineer who can work across technical teams, program stakeholders, and documentation environments to strengthen mission delivery and long-term sustainment. Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications This role supports the development, sustainment, and modernization of a mission planning tool by applying MBSE, requirements analysis, lifecycle planning, and knowledge management practices. The Systems Engineer will help maintain consistency between design, implementation, configuration, and sustainment activities while producing clear artifacts that support program decisions. The role requires initiative, strong communication, and the ability to organize complex system information for both technical and non-technical audiences. Key responsibilities include:

This position is full-time, on site in Colorado Springs (Peterson SFB)
The typical salary range for this position is USD $120,000 - $141,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive total rewards package that includes an annual performance bonus, an employer-funded Profit-Sharing Plan (PSP) contribution based on base compensation, and comprehensive employer-paid medical benefits, PTO pay-out options, along with additional company-sponsored benefits. All of these benefits represent an additional 30-40% to your base compensation for a total compensation package. Deliverable(s) Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. | |||||||||
