Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Administrator / Engineer to develop, operate, and own the endtoend infrastructure of a controlled access facility. The role includes architecture, build, sustainment, security hardening, compliance, user-support, and collaboration with Security, Facilities, and Program teams. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our corporate Windows and Linux systems, managing our Active Directory environment, maintaining network infrastructures, and assisting with cloud infrastructure on Azure. Additionally, support for corporate low-side infrastructure will be required in down-time. Responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of controlled area infrastructure, including design, implementation, hardening, and sustainment of Windows / Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, networks, and firewalls.
- Maintain SSP, SRTM, and compliance documentation in coordination with ISSO/Physical Security Manager.
- Partner with crossfunctional teams to support mission requirements and scheduled changes.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers.
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Monitor and maintain Veeam backups.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide support for Ubiquiti, Dell, and Cisco network appliances including advanced configurations such as packet inspection and subnetting.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures; implement and maintain compliance with DISA STIGs, vulnerability scanning tools
- Troubleshoot system and network issues and escalate when necessary.
- Provide end-user support and training as needed
