Medical Assistant - Digestive Health \| Yale New Haven Health System Westport \| Fairfield Looking to get your foot in the door with one of Connecticut's top healthcare systems? This is your opportunity to join Yale New Haven Health (YNHH) supporting a specialized Digestive Health team across Colorectal, Bariatric, Fatty Liver, and General GI. This is a high-visibility role where you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside top providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Why This Role Stands Out: * Work with Yale New Haven Health - a leading healthcare system in CT * Exposure to multiple GI specialties * Multi-site experience (great resume builder) * Support a collaborative, provider-focused care team What You'll Be Doing: * Room patients, take vitals, and document in Epic * Support patient flow across busy clinics * Assist providers with clinical + administrative tasks * Ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in to discharge * Provide basic patient instructions and specimen guidance * Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety protocols * Assist with supplies and daily clinic operations Location Coverage: * Westport - Monday, Tuesday * Fairfield (primary) - Wednesday through Friday This position is covering a leave of absence-perfect for candidates looking to gain experience within Yale's network. Schedule: * Monday - Friday * 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM What We're Looking For: * 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience * Epic experience strongly preferred * Strong patient-facing and administrative skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Team Environment: * 2:1 Provider-to-MA ratio * 1-4 providers per day depending on location Interested?
