Member Services Representative (Teller) - Comstock Park, MI Location: Comstock Park, MI Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Work Environment: Onsite Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Member Services Representative (Teller) to join our Comstock Park branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and delivers accurate, detail-oriented financial services. As a front-line representative, you will play a key role in creating a positive branch experience while supporting daily operations and customer needs. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Support * Provide friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service * Assist customers with account questions, concerns, and transaction requests * Educate customers on available financial products and services * Deliver a high level of service and build strong customer relationships Transaction Processing * Accurately process: * Deposits and withdrawals * Check cashing * Credit card advances * Money orders and cashier's checks * Maintain and balance a cash drawer with a high level of accuracy * Utilize internal banking systems (e.g., CBX or similar) Branch Operations * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues * Support daily branch operations and administrative tasks * Assist nearby branches when additional coverage is needed * Participate in community engagement initiatives Qualifications Required * 1-3 years of customer service experience (in-person preferred) * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Basic math and cash-handling aptitude * Proficiency with computers and office systems * High attention to detail and ability to multitask * Reliable attendance and consistent work history Benefits & Growth (Upon Conversion) * Competitive benefits package * 401(k) with employer match * No weekends * Career advancement opportunities (Level II/III roles and leadership paths) Why Join This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern branch environment with strong team support, growth potential, and a customer-first culture.
