PC Technician Experience Level: Entry Level Work Environment: Onsite, handson technical role Position Overview The PC Technician is responsible for preconfiguring IT equipment prior to deployment. This includes preparing devices according to documented instructions, validating functionality, and ensuring all work meets quality and consistency standards. This entrylevel role offers opportunities for growth within the IT field. Key Responsibilities * Follow written work instructions to provision and configure IT devices based on customer requirements. * Perform basic kitting of equipment for deployment. * Unbox, rebox, and prepare equipment for shipment. * Clean, test, and inspect IT devices to ensure proper functionality. * Escalate technical or process issues to supervisors when needed. * Participate in internal team and project meetings. * Suggest improvements to processes and workflow efficiency. * Complete additional duties as assigned. Key Outcomes * Consistently follow documented processes to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction. * Complete assigned work accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines. Required Skills & Attributes * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple lowcomplexity tasks. * Ability to work independently while maintaining positive team relationships. * Teamoriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problemsolving. * Aptitude for learning foundational IT concepts. * High attention to detail and strong work ethic. Qualifications * Entrylevel, handson technical role. * Technical certifications are preferred but not required; candidates are expected to pursue certifications within the first year. * At least 1 year of related experience or relevant training preferred. * Valid driver's license meeting insurance requirements. Physical Requirements * Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. * Frequent standing, bending, carrying, and transporting IT equipment (approx. 50% of the time). * Occasional use of basic tools (e.g., screwdrivers). * Ability to read instructions, type, and work from a computer monitor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brook Park, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
