As a Security Officer Badge Check Driver in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping manage entry points, monitor site activity, and support a professional, customer-focused experience. This is a driving post. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and document access activity to help support security-related operations and site rules.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and help to deter policy violations through professional presence and clear communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
