As a Security Officer Access Screener in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a correctional location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or materials, and support a controlled environment through strong observation, communication, and professionalism. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine security-related procedures, and deliver a caring, reliable presence that reflects our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a correctional location.
• Screen visitors, staff, contractors, and/or personal property using assigned screening equipment and established post procedures to help support security-related operations.
• Verify identification, maintain visitor entry records, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site policies and communication protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter zones as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
