About the Opportunity:
- Performs manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, which may need the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.
- Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
- Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations.
- May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment.

What You'll Do:
- Support asset management operations requiring detailed knowledge of procedures and practices associated with the receipt, handling, storage, and allocation of incoming parts and materials for Sikorsky Aircraft, commercial, and Government customers.
- Review, coordinate, correct, and status planned Bills of Materials and Test Collectors in support of ongoing test development programs.
- Work independently to check items, receive and process records, expedite parts and materials through operations as needed to meet test milestones and schedules.
- Responsibilities include the preparation of documentation, movement of parts, interfacing with Production Control, ME, Purchasing and other Engineering customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Coordinate the processing of records and the input of data into specified databases.
- Maintain min - max balances of lab common hardware and equipment.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience with SAP, Microsoft Office and ASSETT SMART.
- 2+ years of experience with expediting, communication with internal customers, suppliers and vendors.

- Must have proficiency in the use of a personal computer, maintenance, and use of databases.
- Be able to effectively determine parts and material schedule deviations prior to deadlines and effectively expedite.
- Be able to operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
- Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Requires flexibility to support overtime, extended, and modified shift requirements.
