Description Job Title: Materials Handler Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Employment Type: Contract (12 months) Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $20.21/hr. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Going up and down stairs and walking around facility. Provides material handling support to warehouse, quality and production departments to ensure on time receipt and delivery of material. Is responsible for safe and damage-free movement of material by use of pallet trucks, and other material handling equipment. Works under the direction of supervisor and in the support of warehouse, quality and production team leads and senior assembly personnel. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 6+ months of Warehouse Picking experience. What Sets You Apart: Forklift experience. Production, picking, shipping experience. Has ability to diagnose basic inventory discrepancies. Has knowledge of material handling work procedures, pick lists, and protocols. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check. Picking up boxes up to 55 pounds Max lifting weight 40lbs On feet all day long but breaks and lunch.
