Position SummaryThe Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for owning and optimizing the early-stage customer lifecycle, from lead engagement through digital activation. This role drives strategy for lead conversion, onboarding effectiveness, and digital adoption, using data insights and cross-functional collaboration to improve customer acquisition outcomes. The BDR exercises independent judgment in prioritizing opportunities, developing engagement strategies, and identifying process improvements that accelerate time to revenue and enhance the overall customer experience. Location: Capital Electric Footprint - Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Impact of the Role The BDR ensures customers are fully onboarded, digitally enabled, and ready to buy faster, allowing the Capital Sales Team to focus on relationship growth and revenue expansion. This role directly supports Capital Electric's goals of higher lead conversion, faster activation, and improved customer experience.
