Job Summary:
Designs and develops multimedia solutions and materials in collaboration with other content creators, adhering to project timelines and developing and posting content for a specified unit in support of visually and contextually communicating messages aligned with unit strategy. Serves as the lead visual storyteller for the School of Veterinary Medicine & UW Veterinary Care (with occasional evening and weekend work required) and also serves as a member of the school's Advancement Team. Key Job Responsibilities:
Assists with a variety of marketing, communications, development, and event-related tasks as a member of the school's Advancement Team. 10% Evaluates metrics and analytics from website, email marketing, and social media to help inform future strategic direction and tactical execution of communications efforts. 5%
Manage library photos, videos, logos, brand elements, and other visual/brand assets. 5%
Deans Office: SVM Advancement and Communication Compensation:Based on experience and qualifications Required Qualifications:At least 2 years of professional full-time experience required, 4 or more years preferred, in visual storytelling including photography and videography, social media, graphic design, website management, print publications, e-newsletters, and more. Experience in photography and videography required, along with corresponding editing software. . Demonstrated ability to learn new technology tools and platforms required. Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred, along with knowledge of the Adobe creative suite, Google analytics, and social media analytics. Familiarity with the veterinary medical and/or clinical and foundational science fields and/or higher education is strongly preferred. Associates Degree in related field required.
