Position Summary:
Bimbo Bakeries US is seeking CPG associates with experience in working on brands and within brand or innovation teams.This person should demonstrate a passion for the business, a willingness to support key brand growth, and an eagerness to learn and grow while uncovering consumer insights and key analytics.
This person will join a dynamic and energetic marketing team developing strategies to drive sales and market share on one of our critical businesses through strong program development and execution. Key brands in the BBU portfolio include Thomas', Sara Lee, Entenmann's, Oroweat, Ball Park and Little Bites.
The Associate will own key workstreams across analytics, innovation, and activation; partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, R&D, and external agencies to deliver best-in-class execution. This is a high-impact opportunity for a marketer who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment, brings intellectual curiosity, and is eager to grow into a brand leadership role.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business performance and brand KPIs, translating data into clear insights, competitive intelligence, and actionable recommendations to drive growth.
  • Partner on the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, digital, and shopper programs.
  • Own and manage key brand initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, and agencies to advance brand priorities and unlock opportunities.
  • Support innovation and new product development processes, including packaging, claims, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Develop compelling sales materials, presentations, and storytelling to support internal alignment and customer engagement. Work closely with Sales and Customer teams on sales opportunities and initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, industry trends, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Manage budgets, track spend and ensure financial alignment with brand objectives.
  • Support digital ecosystem performance (website, social, e-commerce) and partner with agencies to optimize engagement and conversion.
  • Support team in Annual Planning process and with Inter-Agency Teams.
  • Work closely with external agencies (social media, public relations, website, creative) on key projects and timelines.
  • Budget management and invoice processing.
  • Weekly social media, advertising, consumer response and website review of competitors.
  • Support new product development systems and processes (PACT, regulatory, packaging, Salsify).
  • Willingness to travel, approx. 15-20% including visits to bakeries and key sales markets.

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field. MS or MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience, CPG preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and strong analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, experience with Syndicated data (Circana) preferred.
