Job Description
PURPOSE Ensure that correct Resin blends are delivered to each line through the resin delivery system RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
SAFETY Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with Amcor's guidelines including wearing mandatory PPE in production areas. Visually inspects production area for tripping hazards, equipment safeguards and maintains a clean work environment. EXPERIENCE High school diploma/GED, equivalent, or previous manufacturing experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to do functional math; i.e. adding, subtracting, multiplying, division, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio and percent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work around moving machinery or electricity requiring a high level of safety awareness. Employee is required to work with various hand tools and must be able to wear a Appropriate PPE. Employee may be required to lift up to 80 pounds unassisted while performing job duties; push or pull up to 100 pounds. Employee may reach, climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend or twist up to 66% of the work shift. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud. An essential part of this position is to work in a teamwork environment. The employee is constantly exposed to temperature variances; extreme heat during the Spring and Summer and cold temperatures during the Winter. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often subjected to changing priorities, time pressures and constraints, and high level of job-related stress.
