TheResearch Chemist Iwill play a crucial role in advancing the research and development of innovativeTeslin substrate technologiesspecifically designed for theprinting and label industries. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies utilizing a diverse range of raw materials, includingthermoplastic polymers, additives, and fillers.

The successful candidate will support a dedicated R&D team through hands-on laboratory experimentation, project planning, and technical collaboration - all while developing foundational skills in specialty materials science.

Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product optimization, process development, and qualification testing to ensure all initiatives align withcustomer requirements and market demands
  • Conduct hands-on laboratory experiments to support Teslin development projects
  • Optimize product formulations and processing
  • Provide timelytechnical support for commercial products, including troubleshooting of defects and field-related concerns
  • Submit field samples for analytical testing to determine root cause of issues
  • Maintaincomprehensive documentationof project progress, experimental procedures, and test results
  • Communicate research findings and project milestones clearly and effectively
  • Foster positive working relationships across all organizational levels, includingmanufacturing, commercial, and internal technical teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degreein Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Strongorganizational skillswith the ability to manage multiple technical projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work bothindependently and collaborativelywithin a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
