OVERVIEW:

The Parking Attendant is responsible for monitoring and managing the church parking garage during Sunday worship services. This role ensures that parking operations run smoothly, visitors are guided safely into available spaces, and the parking facility remains secure until closing time at 1:30 PM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Monitor the parking garage before, during, and after Sunday worship services.
  • Direct incoming vehicles and assist attendees with parking in an orderly and efficient manner.
  • Ensure only authorized guests attending Sunday services utilize the parking facility.
  • Maintain awareness of traffic flow and help prevent congestion or unsafe conditions.
  • Provide courteous assistance and directions to church members and visitors.
  • Observe the parking area for safety or security concerns and report any issues promptly.
  • Remain on-site to oversee the parking garage until closure at 1:30 PM.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for all attendees.
  • Other related duties as required



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Prior experience in parking or customer service (Preferred)



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to stand, walk, and direct traffic for several hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move light equipment (if needed)
  • Ability to remain alert, attentive, and proactive
