The Role and Team

Medallia is seeking an outcome-driven B2B Field Marketer to design and deliver premium, high-touch events that accelerate enterprise pipeline. You won't just be booking venues and coordinating catering, you will be designing the environments where Medallia's largest enterprise deals are forged. If you have an eye for luxury hospitality, a mind for B2B strategy, and the drive to see your events directly impact the company's bottom line, this role is your next step.

This Senior Manager role requires a unique blend of strategic business sense, strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills. You will interface with internal and external C-suite and senior level executives, ensuring every experience strengthens relationships and delivers measurable ROI.
Please note: This role requires up to 30% travel within North America to lead onsite execution and host our VIP audiences.

Candidates based in the Tysons vicinity will be prioritized as this role is Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite.


Responsibilities

VIP Event Design & Flawless Execution

  • Curate Bespoke Experiences: Plan and execute a premium portfolio of high-touch events, including exclusive VIP dinners, bespoke experiential events, sponsorships and hosted programs.
  • Strong Detail Management: Direct all facets of event production-including premium venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, complex timelines, and budget oversight-ensuring every touchpoint reflects Medallia's brand standard.
  • White-Glove Onsite Hosting: Serve as the professional onsite lead, orchestrating seamless logistics while naturally interacting with executive attendees and internal leadership.
  • Scalable Precision: Simultaneously manage multiple high-stakes timelines without compromising the attention to detail required for high-touch events.

Executive Alignment & Internal Communication

  • Strategic Sales Access: Partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to map high-value target accounts to tailored experiential programs.
  • C-Suite Communications: Act as the internal consultant to senior account executives, enabling them with messaging, white-glove invitation strategies, and the details necessary for their active involvement in the event.
  • Internal Advocacy: Champion upcoming high-touch programs internally, driving alignment, excitement, and disciplined execution across cross functional teams.
  • Strategic Follow-Up: Coordinate directly with account teams to ensure personalized post-event outreach that capitalizes on executive momentum.

Business Impact, Measurement & Reporting

  • Pipeline Attribution: Architect events with the end in mind, tracking and reporting on critical metrics including target account penetration, pipeline generation, and acceleration.
  • Executive Briefings: Synthesize complex event data into concise, high-impact performance reports for marketing and sales leadership.
  • Continuous Optimization: Constantly evaluate event formats and ROI, leveraging feedback and data to elevate future experiences and maximize business impact.

Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Brand Alignment: Collaborate with Content, Creative, and Product Marketing teams to ensure event themes and narratives resonate deeply with an executive audience.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Integrate key ecosystem partners into VIP experiences to increase event value while managing shared goals and co-marketing compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven success managing sophisticated B2B experiential marketing, high-touch VIP programs, or executive events within the technology or professional services sectors. Save
  • Project Mastery: Demonstrated end-to-end project management expertise, showcasing the ability to negotiate high-value vendor contracts and maintain absolute fiscal discipline.
  • Executive Presence: Proven track record of confidently interacting with internal and external C-suite and senior-level stakeholders including in-person, written and oral.
  • Technical Literacy: Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce (or similar enterprise CRMs) to track campaign performance, pipeline attribution, and account data.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel within North America (up to 30%) and command live, fast-paced event environments for extended periods.

  • Industry Expertise: Direct experience within the Enterprise SaaS landscape.
  • Agility & Poise: Comfort navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a calm, solution-oriented mindset under pressure.
  • Tech Stack: Familiarity with modern marketing suites, Google Workspace, and event management platforms.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: A proactive, intuitive approach to anticipating logistical hitches and resolving them seamlessly behind the scenes.

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $123,000 - $185,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
