Job Description

Business Development Sales Manager

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.

What you will be doing:

Business Development Sales Manager will actively conduct prospecting efforts to assist in generating new business opportunities primarily for the group sales team along with other revenue streams for the hotel including Catering and Business Travel. .

Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events

Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details

Organize monthly team wide prospecting activities.

Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers.

Have a complete knowledge of hotel services and accommodations.

Complete knowledge of competitive set hotels

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Accor Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming in compliance with the company dress code

Comply at all times with Accor, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Ausin standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Relevant sales experience is an asset

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Highly responsible & reliable

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Self Starter

Team Player
