POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Public Relations Specialist will work independently, with the marketing manager and marketing agencies to shape brand perception and drives hospital awareness. Marketing Public Relations Specialist will manage media relations, crafting press releases, and executing campaigns to elevate Rochelle Community Hospital's public image and support strategic business growth
Education Minimum Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Public Relations/Communications/Journalism or related fields. Any equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience Level
- Will consider entry to mid- level experience (0 to 4+ years of experience level).
-Skills/Competency
- Exceptional copywriting and editing.
- Proficiency with PR distribution services, social media platforms, and marketing automation software.
- Adobe Suite Design proficiency to create ads, newsletters and other graphic design projects.
- Preferred skills in working with Web Design WordPress for updating websites.
- Above average computer skills and proficiency required with the Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
- Requires prior experience in an office setting.
- Excellent communication skills required include relationship-building and interacting with public.
- Ease in using graphic files and also scanning images.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work under the pressure of multiple requests.
