The Production Sonobuoy Test and Evaluation Technician will provide programmatic, analytical, and coordination support to PMA-264 in support of the Sonobuoy Quality Assurance Program (SQAP) and Production Sonobuoy Test and Evaluation activities. The technician will support the planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of production sonobuoy test events conducted at Navy test ranges and laboratory facilities. This position requires a professional capable of coordinating across government, contractor, and fleet stakeholders while supporting acquisition, test, engineering, and logistics activities associated with the AN/SSQ Series Sonobuoy portfolio. AN/SSQ Series Production Sonobuoys are the principal sensors utilized by U.S. Navy Air Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) forces to detect, classify, and localize adversary submarines. PMA-264 conducts production quality assurance and performance verification testing to ensure sonobuoys meet operational performance specifications and fleet readiness requirements. The selected candidate will serve as a key member of the program team, providing analytical support, tracking program execution, coordinating test activities, developing program documentation, and supporting leadership decision-making. This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.
