Zayo is seeking an Account Director, SLED to support both existing as well as prospective Higher Education accounts in the Central Region, with a keen focus on Research and Education Networks (RENs), Quilt members, and large public universities in need of Zayo fiber infrastructure and connectivity services. Our Account Director, SLED is responsible for achieving sales and revenue growth targets through consistent account management activities as well as acquiring new accounts. Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals set by the leadership team through aggressive prospecting and selling. A demonstrated ability to succeed in an autonomous environment is key to this role. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the full suite of telecommunication services including fiber & network connectivity, managed services, security & voice communications with the ability to work on large, complex deals applying a consultative and trusted advisor approach. Location: This remote position will consider applicants that reside in the continental United States, in the Central Region, preferably Chicago and Indianapolis. Responsibilities:

Estimated Base Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD/annually. #LI-SU1 #LI-REMOTE The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan. Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
