As a Mechanic you'll repair and overhaul gas turbine engine components and parts. You'll ensure our products are world class & exceed our customer's expectations.

What you'll do:

  • Disassemble and reassemble aircraft engine components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and approved maintenance procedures.

  • Clean and prepare engine parts for inspection and repair using solvents, ultrasonic cleaners, and other approved methods.

  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and repair schemes to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and wear inspections using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in work orders while maintaining accurate records in the SA Menu tracking system.

  • Part preparation, quality inspections, testing, and verification of component tolerances and serviceability limits.

  • Support overall shop operations by organizing components and tooling, managing spare parts, maintaining clean work areas, and performing additional duties as assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned not limited to brazing and other.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year job related training/experience

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to sit or stand for at least 50% of shift

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience working in aerospace, manufacturing or maintenance environments.

  • Ability to read and interpret aviation manuals, work instructions, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.

  • Comprehensive understanding of inspection of complex parts.

  • Ability to work in a team and take direction.

  • Flexible with shift work or overtime.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with several levels of leadership to develop and execute both written and verbal objectives.

  • Ability to understand and to restore aviation engine parts to original integrity and dimensions.
