Requirements and Description
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team with reporting, analysis, budgeting, and special projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. This internship provides exposure to financial planning, business operations, and data analysis while developing professional and technical skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and budget tracking.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Help maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Participate in process improvement and special finance projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.
- Perform research and administrative tasks to support the Finance department.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, or accounting principles.
- Experience with data analysis or financial modeling coursework.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Finance or Accounting.
