Under the direction of Urologic Surgeons, the Sr. Physician Assistant (PA) provides clinically expert patient care in support of the Urology Service. The PA will serve as a primary, consistent point of access for all general urology and subspecialty patients at East Campus and will provide continuity of care in the ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient evaluations, history and physical exams, development and execution of treatment plans, patient care coordination with nursing staff, discharge planning, and management of patient health issues, including prioritizing and resolving issues and escalating to physicians as appropriate. Manage and document all communications in the electronic medical record system. The position requires a strong emphasis on the complete care of the surgical patient and demonstrates excellent communication skills, involving physicians, the resident team, nursing staff, family, and all other relevant team members to provide comprehensive care. Additional duties as assigned. While not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position.
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $162,530 - $214,104 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $77.84 - $102.54 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
