About the Role

One of the most rewarding ways to launch your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced medical technologies-from precision instruments to state-of-the-art video systems-directly within a hospital environment.

You will work side-by-side with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams to ensure surgical readiness and successful outcomes. This highly interactive position offers real-time exposure to clinical environments and serves as a strong foundation for long-term career growth across sales, leadership, education, and other functional areas within KARL STORZ.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

What You'll Do
  • Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring equipment readiness and seamless operations
  • Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of KARL STORZ instruments and equipment
  • Transport, clean, sterilize, and package surgical instruments to ensure compliance and readiness
  • Manage repair processes, monitor equipment status, and facilitate service or exchange transactions
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues in real-time within the operating room to support successful procedures
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, sales, or other clinical/medical environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in fast-paced, service-oriented teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Nice to Have:

  • Associate's degree
  • CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification
  • Experience supporting surgical instruments or medical devices
