Primary Purpose
Performs diagnostics, inspections, and troubleshooting on gas transmission and distribution systems with limited supervision while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring work quality. (This position is in Holbrook, LA) Duties and Responsibilities * Performs detailed corrosion surveys such as closeinterval readings and identify probable sources of issues. * Troubleshoots and repairs rectifiers, test stations, and grounding components. * Leads preparations for inline inspection runs and supports tool launching and receiving. * Inspects and maintains valves, regulators, and relief devices according to procedures. * Executes compressor station preventive maintenance and identifies equipment defects. * Leads safe leak repair site setup, including barricading and hazard controls. * Trains junior technicians on testing methods and documentation standards. * Verifies completeness and accuracy of field documentation submitted by crews. * Performs other duties as assigned. | |
