Description

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the production line is set up and operating efficiently while also keeping the food safety and quality of product in line.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


    • Be a working leader on the warehouse floor, while coordinating repackaging, relabeling, and kit building at direction of the DCS Project Manager
    • Review daily production schedule and making sure all materials are available for the production line
    • Load and unload product from trailers manually or with a pallet jack
    • Re-pack of apportion product from full cases to smaller quantities
    • Print labels and verify accuracy of all information on the labels
    • Perform training with new and existing employees to be competent with packaging and assembly processes, and compliant with food safety regulations
    • Maintain basic housekeeping of workspace
    • Interact as necessary with Food Safety and Inspection Service representatives

YOU MUST HAVE


    • Ability to lift to 35 pounds up to 72 inches
    • Strong math skills
    • Ability to pass standard physical abilities test to meet the physical demands of job
    • A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position
    • Reliable transportation
      • Position works across campus based on build need in dry warehouse, perishable warehouse, and Dorothy's market

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE


  • Experience in handling pressure and working with customers both internal and external
  • Experience in an environment that promotes a productive work atmosphere, sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene
  • Computer experience

    ROLE SPECIFICS


      • Schedule Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with additional overtime required as needed
      • Extensive standing/walking on concrete
      • Work in temperatures that range from 0 to 100 degrees
