This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which servesthe telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

Job Purpose

The Senior Financial Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making by partnering with finance, operations, and business leaders. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis while advancing enterprise data governance, reporting consistency, and performance transparency.The ideal candidate blends strong financial acumen with analytical rigor and business partnering to improve profitability, cash conversion, and forecast accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
  • Analyze business performance and key drivers of variances across revenue, margin, and costs
  • Deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate profitability and optimize resource allocation
  • Drive standardization of financial metrics aligned to a single source of truth (SSOT)
  • Design and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting (ERP, EDW, BI tools)
  • Ensure data integrity and governance across reporting processes
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue, margin, working capital, and cash conversion
  • Lead monthly business reviews with forward-looking insights
  • Identify automation opportunities and support finance transformation initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
  • 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business finance
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and analytics
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
  • Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, pivot tables, and financial modelling
