Direct Response Representative
Raleigh, NC, United States (Onsite)

Role Overview:
Drive early stage revenue growth by converting high intent inbound demand into qualified pipeline while shaping how organizations evaluate modern customer experience technology. This role directly influences how prospects engage with Genesys by guiding them from initial interest to meaningful sales conversations that accelerate pipeline creation. At Genesys, we enable organizations to deliver empathetic, AI powered experiences through the Genesys Cloud platform, and this position plays a critical role in helping customers understand and realize that value from their first interaction. You will partner closely with sales and marketing to ensure every qualified lead translates into measurable opportunity, while developing the consultative selling skills needed to grow into future direct sales roles. This is an onsite role based in Raleigh, North Carolina, requiring regular in office presence and collaboration with cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound lead flow to ensure rapid qualification and conversion into sales ready opportunities
  • Drive pipeline growth by identifying customer needs and aligning them with Genesys Cloud capabilities
  • Engage prospects through consultative conversations that uncover business challenges and decision drivers
  • Deliver high level product demonstrations that clearly communicate platform value and differentiation
  • Partner with sales teams to transition qualified opportunities and maintain strong pipeline momentum
  • Apply structured prospecting techniques to expand engagement within target accounts
  • Track performance metrics to improve conversion rates, responsiveness, and overall effectiveness
  • Maintain consistent follow up practices to accelerate deal progression and deepen customer engagement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience through military service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professional audiences
  • Comfort using digital tools, CRM systems, and sales enablement platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross functional teams
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and sales methodologies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in building a long term career in sales

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or early experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation
  • Exposure to SaaS, cloud platforms, or customer experience technologies
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar tools
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals in academic or professional settings

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$44,200.00 - $77,800.00
