Temporary Adjunct Position(s) in Management & Entrepreneurship

The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for temporary adjunct position(s) in Management & Entrepreneurship at the level of Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Associate Professor, or Adjunct Professor, starting fall semester 2026. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position(s) are temporary and do not include benefits.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g., criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Job Function/Course Loads

The teaching load for this position is a maximum of four courses per academic year and is dependent on department needs and student enrollment.

Education Requirement

MBA, doctorate, or degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Required Qualifications

Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in any area of management, or a demonstrated high level of teaching competence.

Desired Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates with the ability to teach across multiple areas of management and entrepreneurship at the undergraduate level. Courses are taught in person in Iowa City, and availability during weekday daytime hours is strongly preferred. Candidates should possess demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: (1) human resource management, (2) negotiations, or (3) entrepreneurship.
