Summary of the Job:

Responsible for the daily receipt, screening for hazardous items, sorting, and both physical and electronic delivery of internal and external mail and packages for FNBO. Will prepare and scan items into digital files and send to departments for processing or archival. Work with the couriers to ensure receipt and deliveries are documented and on time. Pick-up and delivery of physical mail and packages within the downtown campus.

About This Role:

Key Accountabilities:

Use set procedures to sort between physical delivery or electronic distribution, track and deliver mail

  • Will need to sort incoming mail into segments for physical delivery or electronic distribution
  • Physical accountable mail will need to be entered and tracked electronically through final delivery

Prepare and electronically scan Bank mail to meet or exceed established quality and quantity standards.

  • Ability to run Opex Equipment for capturing customer transactions. This includes sitting or standing for an 8hrs shift depending on workload.
  • Focus on attention to detail and accuracy and stop items that should not be scanned
  • Ability multi-task as needed.
  • Ability to understand and follow standard procedures, oral or written instruction.

Process undeliverable electronic queue to send mail to proper recipient

  • Utilize problem solving and guides to ensure mail is delivered to intended destination
  • Contact possible departments for guidance to determine correct location
  • Research items returned as incorrect and redirect correctly giving sorting guidance to programmers for change

Use set procedures to sort, track and deliver mail as well as perform scanning production.

  • Sort mail and packages for courier runs into correct delivery routes
  • Deliver mail and packages to correct locations on Campus

Perform retention scanning production.

  • Ability to prepare production work for electronic scanning
  • Utilize scanning software to scan items into proper work queues
  • Index individual scanned accounts into the correct account

Field phone calls to Mail Center and be able to answer customer questions

  • Advise mailing customers on best ways to send or receive items
  • Research and advise different pricing solutions for sending packages
  • Find trackable items in route when questions arise

Screen incoming mail for dangerous materials

  • Be proficient in running the X-Ray scanning equipment
  • Look for other potential hazards in the mail to stop possible contamination
  • Make escalated calls for backup when suspicious items are found

Learn and maintain comprehensive job knowledge through a combination of procedures and on-the-job-training (OJT) for all department job functions.

  • Work in a manner to complete production and accuracy at expected levels.
  • Assist in procedure feedback to improve processes.
  • Follow all pertinent regulations.

Understand and comply with the Bank's BSA/AML Program; adhere to all bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to role.

  • Complying with the Bank's Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence Policy.
  • Identifying, monitoring and reporting suspicious activity.
  • Completing BSA/AML and other assigned training in a timely manner as directed by management.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in the FNO Compliance Accountability Program.
  • Remain up-to-date on regulatory changes via online provider, newsletters, attending seminars, training, and bulletins from regulators or other applicable agencies.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required:

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Excellent verbal skills with ability to answer customer questions via phone, Email or in person
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lift 70pounds
  • Focus on attention to detail and accuracy and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task as needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.

Desired:

  • Postal or delivery service experience.
  • Knowledge banking products and processes.
  • Basic mathematical functions and capability.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $34,625.00-$48,474.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
