Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join a high-volume, well-supported GI practice in Fredericksburg and Stafford, Virginia.

Position Highlights

  • Hybrid inpatient/outpatient role
  • Procedure-heavy practice (~75% procedures / 25% clinic)
  • Majority outpatient with minimal inpatient responsibilities
  • Supported by GI hospitalists, APPs, fellows, and residents

Practice Details

  • Perform EGD, colonoscopy, and endoscopic procedures
  • Procedures at 3 sites: Stafford Hospital, Mary Washington Hospital, Central Park ASC
  • Clinic locations in Fredericksburg & Stafford, VA
  • Advanced technology: GI Genius, Olympus scopes, Epic EMR
  • Dedicated anesthesia and experienced endoscopy staff

Schedule & Call

  • 4 clinical days + 1 admin day (Mon-Fri)
  • Typical hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Shared call (~1:10), ~5 weeks/year
  • Light call burden with fellows assisting

Qualifications

  • ABIM Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Virginia license (or eligible)
  • No visa sponsorship available
