Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and professional positions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers and business leaders, providing talent acquisition expertise, workforce planning support, market intelligence, and recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent. The TABP will build and maintain talent pipelines, guide stakeholders through the hiring process, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience while supporting organizational growth and workforce objectives.

Job Responsibilities



  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer development, and onboarding support.
  • Serve as the primary talent acquisition partner and trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Conduct intake meetings and recruiting strategy sessions to define hiring requirements, timelines, and sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and execute proactive recruiting plans to attract qualified technical and professional talent.
  • Source passive and active candidates through networking, referrals, talent pipelines, and recruiting platforms.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Assess candidate qualifications, technical capabilities, and organizational fit.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers regarding interview techniques, candidate evaluations, and hiring decisions.
  • Educate stakeholders on labor market trends, talent availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage interview scheduling and candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics and hiring progress to business and talent acquisition leadership.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records within applicant tracking systems.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies, employment regulations, and established talent acquisition processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Human Resources, hiring teams, and business leaders to deliver a seamless recruitment experience.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting effectiveness, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and organizational growth through strategic talent acquisition efforts.
  • Participate in local recruiting events and hiring activities as needed.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and talent acquisition experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of talent acquisition experience with a bachelor's degree, or a minimum of 6 years of talent acquisition experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting technical and professional talent across engineering, manufacturing, operations, production, supply chain, business, or related disciplines.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems such as Workday, Eightfold, or similar platforms.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining talent pipelines.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder partnership abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage recruiting metrics and labor market data to influence hiring decisions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


Work Experience



  • Experience recruiting technical talent across engineering disciplines such as Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, or related fields required.
  • Corporate talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, engineering, manufacturing, or highly technical organizations preferred.
  • Engineering recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience using recruiting metrics, labor market intelligence, and workforce analytics preferred.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders preferred.
