Essential Job Duties
We are seeking a temporary part-time event logistics coordinator to support high-level logistics for a short-term program involving international participants and multiple coordinated activities.

Duties include:

  • Coordinating logistics such as meals, transportation, scheduling and onsite coordination
  • Communicate with external stakeholders, vendor's, participants and partner organizations
  • Set up site visit trainings and schedule multi-location activities


Must have transportation to be able to travel to and from locations including NC State's Centennial Campus, Clayton and locations in RTP.

Minimum Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience
Department Required Skills

  • Direct experience coordinating logistics for multi-day programs, events, or meetings involving international participants
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience managing complex, high-volume logistics (meals, transportation, scheduling, and onsite coordination) under time-sensitive conditions
  • 3+ years experience communicating and coordinating with external stakeholders such as vendors, participants, or partner organizations
  • Prior experience executing group logistics for structured programs (e.g., site visits, trainings, or scheduled multi-location activities)

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • 2+ years direct experience coordinating logistics for multi-day events involving international participants, including coordination of food and transportation.
  • Experience working in cross-sector environments involving industry, academic, and/or government stakeholders
  • Familiarity with structured or regulated program environments, including coordination with government or regulatory-facing partners
  • Experience managing dietary and allergy-sensitive meal coordination at scale
