As a Room Attendant you will oversee the opening of the Housekeeping Department to include assignment of daily work and provide courteous and prompt reception to all associates and guests both in person and via the telephone.

Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, Hilton Milwaukee is Milwaukee's largest hotel. Originally built in 1927 as the Schroeder Hotel, the property features over 700 guest rooms, more than 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and hosts thousands of guests, associates, and visitors each year.

What will you be doing?

  • Open Housekeeping Department, assign Room Attendant schedules, maintain call and occupancy logs, and update room status.
  • Answer phone calls professionally, take messages, and follow up as needed.
  • Provide computer printout reports.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Housekeeping Office and locker rooms.
  • Ensure excellent guest/associate rapport by responding promptly and courteously to requests.
  • Assist with Lost and Found, including packing and mailing packages.
  • Support Housekeeping Managers with paperwork and clerical duties.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

What do you bring to the role?

  • One year of Housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English in an articulate, clear manner is required. Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred.
  • Must be efficient with computer programs and have a basic working knowledge of computers.
  • Must possess good phone etiquette.
