Description

The Office of the Queens County District Attorney is seeking a Fiscal Analyst who will assist the Fiscal Director in the administration of fiscal activities related to the agency's overall PS and OTPS budget. The Fiscal Analyst will perform the following job functions, including, but not limited to:



  • Assisting with the handling of the Office's expense budget
  • Performing accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Reviewing vendor invoices and processing voucher disbursements
  • Liaising with vendors and end-users to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Conducting budget monitoring, analysis, and forecasting
  • Performing other special projects, as assigned.


Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements:


A Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration or related fields or equivalent education and experience. For current City employees, a permanent civil service title is highly desired.


Ideal candidate will have two plus years of experience with the NYC budget process and strong working knowledge of NYC Comptroller's Directives, and other applicable rules and regulations. Experience working with New York City's Financial Management System (FMS) and QuickBooks preferred. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organizational, writing and interpersonal skills required.

Salary: $58,000
