The Senior Manager - NA ICT Purchasing Leader will have to strengthen regionalization and enhance ICT support for North America. Reporting directly to the Head of ICT Global Purchasing, this role will act as the single point of entry for Purchasing functions in North America, ensuring strong alignment between global ICT strategy and regional business needs. This is a high-visibility, business-facing leadership role, requiring strong autonomy and representation capabilities. The position will partner closely with North America leadership to identify gaps, define the ICT Purchasing roadmap, and drive operational execution, while reinforcing governance, budget discipline, and value creation. The role is critical to addressing current NA challenges, including process optimization, automation, VCP initiatives, and data/AI adoption, while ensuring effective coordination with ICT NA regional organization. Key responsibilities: NA Business Partnership & Representation
- Act as the primary point of contact for ICT Purchasing in North America
- Partner with NA leadership (Purchasing, ICT, Finance) to understand priorities and translate them into actionable roadmaps
- Represent ICT Purchasing in NA governance forums and leadership discussions
VCP (Value Chain Performance) & Data, AI Enablement
- Support and lead VCP initiatives in NA, including:
- PO and pricing fluctuation analysis
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Value creation tracking and reporting
- Drive adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions in NA:
NA ICT Purchasing Strategy & Roadmap
- Capture North America-specific requirements and priorities, and define, maintain, and execute a regional ICT Purchasing roadmap derived from and aligned with global priorities.
- Ensure alignment between global programs and NA-specific requirements
- Identify gaps in ICT support and proactively propose solutions to strengthen regional capabilities
Operational Execution & Performance
- Drive end-to-end execution of purchasing activities in NA:
- Supplier management and performance tracking
- Procurement operations monitoring (PO flows, pricing, compliance)
- Improve responsiveness and delivery performance for NA stakeholders
Process Optimization & Automation
- Lead initiatives to optimize NA purchasing processes and increase efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement governance and operating models
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Identify risks impacting NA delivery and proactively escalate issues
- Reinforce governance frameworks and accountability within the region
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experience in Purchasing, ICT, Digital Transformation
- Strong experience in business partnering at senior leadership level
- Deep understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and sourcing operations
- Experience with digital tools and platforms (ERP systems, data platforms such as Palantir, AI/analytics solutions)
- Strong financial acumen (budget management, cost optimization, forecasting)
- Experience in global and regional matrix organizations
- Strong leadership capabilities with ability to operate with high autonomy
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strategic mindset with strong execution discipline
