Summary:

The Data Scientist is a key member within the Pediatric Precision Health Program, responsible for driving innovation through the intersection of technical expertise and academic contribution. The Data Scientist will develop robust analytical pipelines for genomic data, conduct meticulous variant annotation and interpretation, and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and scientists across multiple clinical subspecialties. This role leverages a deep research background in oncology or EMR data to apply cutting-edge AI and machine learning models to the most challenging clinical cases. The Data Scientist is vital to driving the innovation and academic rigor necessary to advance the frontiers of precision medicine and improve outcomes for all patients.

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in healthcare data science

  • Demonstrated proficiency in accessing and interpreting genetic variants

Education

  • Master's degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, data science, or other relevant degree
