Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Chief Technology & Information Officer (CTIO) for its corporate headquarters located in Lenexa, KS. In this role, you will sit at the center of how the organization modernizes, scales, and aligns its enterprise technology ecosystem, owning the direction, discipline, and investments that drive innovation.


This role exists to elevate enterprise technology across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, and digital capabilities to the highest level of the organization.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead all enterprise technology functions including infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, engineering, cloud platforms, data, analytics, and support services.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise technology roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and growth objectives.
  • Drive enterprise innovation initiatives leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Build practical AI and data strategies that create measurable operational and business value.
  • Oversee approximately $30 million in annual technology operating and strategic investment spend.
  • Establish governance, prioritization, and portfolio management disciplines across technology investments and enterprise initiatives.
  • Ensure enterprise technology systems remain reliable, scalable, secure, and operationally aligned.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape enterprise strategy through technology-enabled business opportunities.
  • Build and mentor high-performing technology teams across infrastructure, engineering, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital capabilities.
  • Lead enterprise modernization initiatives while balancing operational stability and execution discipline.
  • Manage vendor relationships, technology partnerships, sourcing strategy, and enterprise technology investments.
  • Serve as the enterprise technology voice across executive leadership discussions and organizational transformation efforts.


Purpose


The CTIO serves as both a strategic business executive and enterprise technology leader, responsible for aligning technology investments, AI enablement, digital transformation, data strategy, and operational systems with long-term business objectives.


Basic Qualifications



  • 15-20+ years of progressive leadership experience across enterprise technology, digital transformation, engineering, or business technology leadership.
  • Prior experience as a CIO, CTO, CTIO, VP of Technology, Chief Digital Officer, or similar executive leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading both enterprise IT operations and innovation-focused transformation initiatives.
  • Experience building and scaling advanced technology teams across data, analytics, AI, engineering, cybersecurity, or digital product organizations.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale technology organizations with operational complexity, large teams, and multimillion-dollar budgets.
  • Founder, startup, entrepreneurial, or private-equity operating experience highly valued.
  • Construction, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, field services, or operationally complex business experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated accountability for delivery performance, investment returns, operational effectiveness, and organizational results.
