Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications This successful Sr. System Engineer will provide satellite-launch vehicle integration expertise to include identifying, validating, communicating, and implementing launch requirements for satellite programs. Specifically, developing the products for contract development, early integration, launch vehicle selection, and launch operations. Responsible for supporting launch service acquisition, integration, test, readiness, and launch of complex classified multi-configuration space systems. Must understand and communicate programmatic risks and advise on navigating the challenges associated with planning, hardware transport, check-out, stand-alone testing, integration operations, and day-of-launch functions on existing and future launch vehicles. Must be experienced in the integration of classified spacecraft to launch vehicles, including design and implementation of mission-unique hardware and CONOPs development. Requires knowledge of the current and future National Security Space Launch (NSSL) contract structure and Launch Vehicle Providers.

Location Compensation The typical salary range for this position is USD $165,000 - $185,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan, and other benefits, all in addition to salary. Deliverable(s) Support a customer charged with rapidly delivering first-of-their-kind operational space capabilities that protect space assets and defend joint forces from space-enabled attack. | |||||||||
