*Low Voltage Cable Installer (Data Center) - Denver Area* *Location:* Denver, Colorado
*Job Type:* Contract (16 Weeks) *Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8-10-hour days (40-50 hrs/week) *Pay Rate:* $23-$26/hour *Overview* We are seeking skilled *Low Voltage Cable Installers* to support structured cabling projects in a *data center environment*. This role involves installing, dressing, labeling, testing, and terminating copper and fiber optic cabling, as well as assisting with network equipment buildouts. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-demand industry while working alongside experienced technicians. *Key Responsibilities* * Install and route *CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling* * *Perform cable dressing, labeling, and material management* * *Execute rack and stack* and server cabinet buildouts * Rough-in and finalize fiber pathways and structured cabling systems * Terminate and test copper and fiber cables * Support *patching, splicing, and troubleshooting* * *Use testing equipment (e.g., Fluke testers*) to ensure quality * Maintain clean and organized job sites * Read and interpret *floor plans, drawings, and specifications* *Required Qualifications* * At least *1 year of experience* in low voltage or structured cabling OR relevant *trade/technical school training* * *Experience with:* * *Cable installation and pulling* * Termination and patching * Cable labeling and organization * Familiarity with *CAT5, CAT6, and/or fiber optic cabling* * *Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces* * *Strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail* *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in *data center or commercial environments* * *Rack & stack* or cabinet buildout experience * *Fiber splicing (fusion, ribbonized)* * *Experience with Fluke/OTDR testing tools* * *Knowledge of IDF/MDF buildouts and pathway installation* * *Understanding of cable color codes and QA best practices* *Requirements* * *OSHA 10 Certification* (required before start) * Must provide own *basic hand tools* * *Required PPE:* * *Composite toe boots* * Hard hat * Safety glasses * High-visibility vest * Ability to pass a *drug screening* *Work Environment* * Indoor and exterior work within a *data center setting* * *Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching* * *May work in tight or confined spaces* * *Fast-paced, team-oriented environment* *What You'll Gain* * Hands-on experience in a growing *data center industry* * *Opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians (3+ years expertise)* * *Potential for redeployment on future projects* based on performance * Skill development in *fiber, testing, and structured cabling systems* *Interview Process* * Initial recruiter screening * Short (10-15 minute) hiring manager interview *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
