We have an opening in our HR department in Monmouth Junction, NJ for an Human Resources Associate.

The Associate, Human Resources supports and assists Human Resources (HR) in achieving departmental goals and objectives. The incumbent builds upon their industry experience and/or education to expand their technical and business knowledge while actively contributing to, and supporting, the development, maintenance and monitoring of assigned HR project and program plans. She/he is responsible for predominately supporting Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Internal Communication and Training initiatives but also works across all HR functions including, but not limited to: Payroll, Benefits, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, etc., as needed and appropriate.

  • Maintains all appropriate HR related documentation, as assigned while assuring adherence to, and compliance with, established company HR policies, practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Department of Labor (DOL) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) standards pertaining to documentation and records management
  • Provides operational and administrative assistance to Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team to support identification and development of successful candidates/pipeline and creative sourcing strategies ensuring high quality and diverse candidate pools; Actively supports diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) hiring strategies championing DE&I initiatives and projects throughout organization
  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other Recruiting tools and sites (i.e., Indeed, LinkedIn, Biospace, etc.) to maintain accurate sourcing and pipelining files; Supports daily operational Recruiting activities including, but not limited to: scheduling interviews, dispositioning candidates, posting jobs, etc.; Initiates and oversees on-boarding process for new hires, as appropriate, following process through to successful completion; Collaborates closely with candidates, hiring managers and departments (i.e., IT, QA Training, Security, Payroll, etc.) to ensure successful on-boarding and positive candidate experience
  • Works with management and internal departments in developing content and coordinating company communications for internal stakeholders utilizing multiple communications channels (i.e., LinkedIn, Glass Door, Intranet, etc.) to grow an audience and build company awareness and employee engagement
  • Collaborates with HR Training Manager and other training personnel to support the development and promotion of HR Training and New Hire Orientation activities; Assists with all aspects of pre and post training activities including, but not limited to: scheduling, room set up, ordering supplies, follow-up/feedback collection, etc.
  • Participates and assists in other HR functions (i.e., Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.), special projects, Employee Resource Groups (ERPs) and company cultural events, as assigned

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree and minimum 1 year experience in a corporate setting in an internal or external customer facing role
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand HR analytics and business information
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to adapt quickly, ask questions and collaborate closely across multiple departments and audience levels
  • Experience or ability to develop and manage quality cultural content on business-focused social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Glass Door, etc.)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Work Arrangements: We are a HYBRID work environment requiring local candidates to be able to work majority of week in our NJ office.

Anticipated salary range: $ 70 to $ 85K/year. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate's education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.

Additional benefits: In addition to base salary, full-time employees are also eligible for incentives, including, but not limited to: bonus eligible, medical, dental, vision, Rx insurance, 401K with match, life insurance, paid Company Holidays, PTO, Paid Volunteer Time and Employee Resource Groups.
