Summary of role As part of our site-based Bedford & Billerica Campus Services Team, this employee will plan and schedule infrastructure and equipment maintenance in accordance with asset care flow charts and guidelines to support the reliability and availability of assets, within our CMMS system, Maximo. This position is also responsible for equipment lifecycle management process from initial installation through decommissioning. Additionally, this position will provide technical support to the Campus Services and Facilities Maintenance teams for various operations related to security, occupancy planning, and other technical needs.

This position is based on-site in Bedford and Billerica, MA and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions



  • Establish strong working relationships with key manufacturing and business customers/partners and demonstrate accountability with a focus on customer service and compliance.
  • Applies knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance processes and best practices ensuring comprehensive equipment lifecycle management and equipment uptime.
  • Plans maintenance work activities as they relate to carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC disciplines with the Trade leads of each group. Work with technical experts to optimize resources.
  • Thoroughly explores customer requirements and communicates alternatives, scheduling, and project status updates effectively through correspondence, meetings, and face-to-face conversation with management and peers.
  • Works closely with technical and content experts to ensure work is completed and documented in the most efficient manner, in compliance with Lantheus Quality Management Systems.
  • Reviews all work orders and feedback within areas of responsibility to ensure accuracy and completeness of work plan and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates contractor work associated with planned jobs to ensure training requirements are met and POs are in place to facilitate execution of work.
  • Develops and maintains metrics for performance trending and improvement.
  • Reviews and coordinates schedule with supervisors & managers. Plans in conjunction with technical experts as required.
  • Completes all required pre-work such as: Change Control, Engineering Change Management, Out of Service, Safety Assessments, Hazard Review, Contingency Planning etc.
  • Actively promotes safety rules and awareness. Demonstrates good safety practices at all times, including the appropriate use of protective equipment. Incorporates all applicable safety requirements into Job Plans. Reports and takes initiative to correct safety & environmental hazards.
  • Provide support as part of the team that is authorized to oversee incoming and outgoing packages, internal mail flow, and coordination between buildings and Sort and coordinate distribution of sensitive packages and materials across all departments and lab spaces, working with EHS & RPO as needed.
  • Provide support & monitoring as needed for C-cure 9000, our access control software. This includes employee data integration, clearances and maintaining accurate building mapping.
  • Work with vendor to provide front-line support for operation and maintenance of on-site printers and workplace equipment, including back up supplies of toner, scheduling of service, and coordination with internal IT support as needed.


Basic Qualifications



  • Minimum of High School Diploma and relevant experience required; College coursework preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in planning and scheduling.
  • 3+ years' experience working in a regulated environment. (GxP preferred)
  • Knowledge in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance processes.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management systems experience (MAXIMO highly preferred).
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) experience.
  • Ability to comprehend technical maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications.
  • Requires normal eyesight, normal balance, and normal mobility, able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs, the ability to climb a 20' vertical ladder, able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Trades knowledge and specific experience working directly in one or more trades is a plus.

            • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience through a variety of formats.
            • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
            • First-hand experience working with customers, service partners and peers in a customer service function.
            • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Capable of determining priority level of projects and tasks and managing appropriately.
            • Is detail and results-oriented. Able to work seamlessly with peers across the site.
            • World-class teaming, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong integrity imperative.
            • Demonstrate a "can-do" approach to problems and persistence in the face of adversity and limited resources.
            • Willingness to respond timely 24 x 7 to support the Beford & Billerica sites as required.
            • Familiarity with CMMS, CAFM, SAP systems, corporate security/badging systems, and database tools is a plus.

              The pay range for this position is between $30.77 and $46.15 per hour.

              Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
