Job Description:

Global Banking is hiring a Compensation Professional to drive compensation strategy and execution for clients within the Investment Bank.
As a Compensation Professional offer within Global Banking, you will provide strategic solutions and expert advice to the business and HR business advisors; combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business needs, market and regulatory landscape, and associated detailed analysis/models.

This role partners closely with business leaders, HR teams, Finance, Risk and Compliance to ensure compensation structures , regulatory compliance, talent retention and employee engagement across multiple geographies.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the annual compensation planning processes (both mid-year and year-end), including building tools, performing analysis and reporting to determine compensation funding, allocation and spend, and working with Finance and HR business advisors.
    * Develop a comprehensive understanding of business issues and priorities; effectively analyse and diagnose issues; provide clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound comp-related decisions.
    * Support and advise on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention.
    * Consulting with HR Business Advisors, Recruiting and Senior Managers to create competitive offer packages for key strategic hires
    * Review and approval of offer packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with corporate governance guidelines
    * Participate in compensation surveys; independent analysis of internal and external benchmarking data to support business' rationale


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Must have Excel experience
  • Investment Banking experience
  • Strong knowledge of banking compensation structures, incentive plans and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced compensation analysis and financial modeling skills
  • Experience in HR policies , talent management and workforce planning
