As a Security Officer Patrol Console in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. At a prominent government location, Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed patrol officer to help monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public access areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic visitor areas to help to control access, assist with directional questions, and support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Assist with reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity, while following post orders and Allied Universal protocols for a government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
