Job Details

The Staff Accountant I position is responsible for performing general bookkeeping, maintaining financial reports, and analyzing account activity.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Prepare and record journal entries.
  • Prepare assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset system for all additions and disposals on a monthly basis; calculate, prepare, and post monthly depreciation entries.
  • Prepare monthly cash reconciliations timely and accurately. Maintain daily cash tracking worksheets for the deposit and general accounts; review/follow up on bank corrections and NSF checks.
  • Manage market fund accounts including coordinating set-up and providing backup when requested.
  • Provide support for Tax Staff Accountant.
  • Act as backup for other staff accountant responsibilities.
  • Provide budget support as needed.
  • Prepare all required property tax reports and ensure timely and accurate filing.
  • Support external auditor and tax requests by providing schedules and analysis as needed.
  • Prepare other ad hoc assignments/reports that arise during the normal course of business.
  • Document all procedures/processes required to accomplish assigned tasks and maintain documentation as procedures/processes change.
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and others you come into contact with through your job.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

This is a full-time position, Monday -- Friday.

Required Education and Experience



  • Minimum of 1 year general bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and 10 key by touch at minimum of 10k kph



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong application and knowledge of beverage industry accounting
  • Working knowledge of VIP, Microsoft Dynamics F+O, or other accounting software

  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
