About the Role This role is Bonterra's outbound Enterprise Development Rep focused on outreach to commercial prospects with an emphasis on the life sciences/biopharmaceutical industry. You'll own prospecting within this vertical, which means you will use your life sciences expertise to target prospect corporations. As the first point of contact for prospective customers in this space, you'll engage and qualify decision-makers primarily within Medical Affairs, sharing how our grants management software, CyberGrants,will help their teams manage funding for independent research, education and expand access programs. This is a role for someone who is self-motivated and excited to start or grow their career in SaaS sales. What You'll Do Own top-of-funnel prospecting for the targeted prospective customers. Emphasis will be given to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. Prospect new accounts and conduct outreach at a fast pace and high volume, using tools like Sales Navigator. Understand a potential customer's needs and desired outcomes and effectively communicate how Bonterra will meet them. Schedule discovery calls for Account Executives. Meet performance-based goals around outbound activity and qualified meetings. Who You Are You have professional experience or an educational background in medical research, clinical science, or related life sciences field, and you're ready to apply that foundation in a commercial context. You have a desire to start or advance a career in sales. You ramp up fast! You can learn new software, industry terminology, and market dynamics quickly. You are engaging, positive, and have confidence presenting information to commercial decision-makers.
